Why Some Merchandise Categories at Left are Blank
I received an email recently about this one. Please be assured that we carry ALL merchandise listed in the categories on the left side AT THE SHOP. As we have time (which has not been plentiful since April 1) we have been uploading merchandise information as quickly as possible. Because YARN is seasonal and is often discontinued and replaced with new offerings, we've been concentrating on updating the yarn categories. My apologies to all cross-stitchers out there. We have an excellent selection of cross stitch supplies at the shop, as well as online. (Online - Go to "Cross Stitch Charts" and click on Merchant Mall.) If there is something in particular that you need, please feel free to send us an email. We'll get back to you as soon as possible - usually within 48 hours - with pricing and availability.
New Summer Hours - Until September 2nd!
Summer is here and it's already been a hotter than normal June! From now until September 2nd our hours will be: Tues-Wed-Fri-Sat, 10:00-ish to 3:00 p.m.; Thursdays 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. UFO Night on Thursdays will run as usual, 7-9:30 p.m. Let us know if you'd like to join us for dinner before UFO Night and we'll tell you where we're eating! If you work during the week, have a problem getting here on Saturdays, and need something specific, just give us a call and we'll open up one evening for you to pick up your item. Just let us know!
New Bi-Monthly Sock-a-Bration!
We're starting a new sock club! We'll meet every month, but will introduce a new sock every OTHER month. Knit 6 pair in 2008! Make it a resolution!
The Sock-A-Bration Club will meet on the first Saturday afternoon of every month at 2:00 pm. The first sock will be introduced and taught at the February 2nd meeting. You'll have two months to finish the pair but we'll meet again on March 1st to make sure you're are still on track.
You may join the club at any time, but must commit to no fewer than three (3) pair of socks. We'll be using a newly released sock book which will be available at the February meeting and must be purchased through The Busy Needle.
Yes! We'll run the club online! You'll be able to purchase your materials through the online shop and pay either with credit card or through PayPal.
We'll email you each month with any special sock instructions, pattern problems, etc. and we want to see photos of your socks! We'll post them on our website in a new section we're developing specifically for the Sock-A-Bration Club.

Welcome to our website! This is a work in progress (WIP) and we all know we have them. As we load more and more shop merchandise on to the site, please be patient and check back often.
